Music at the Hedge School
The Hedge School is delighted to open itself to the world of traditional Irish music.
Based in Co Carlow and Co Kildare, our music programme has two strands :
Introduction to Irish Traditional Music programme takes place over ten Saturdays from Oct - May.
Day-long workshops throughout the year.
Maybe you’re interested in learning and developing your skills in a group setting. Maybe you’ve been learning an instrument alone and you’d like the chance to play with others or maybe you are interested in learning tunes in the traditional way, by ear.
This music programme includes information about music - styles and musicians; special guests as well as trips and opportunities to play in different settings.
