Welcome to The Harvest Press

The Harvest Press is a small, independent publishing company established in County Carlow in 2020 by the writers Angela Keogh and John MacKenna. We publish new work, offer performances and workshops and have scripts for theatre productions available. We are delighted to be up and running. Our small enterprise is being launched at the most precarious of times but, like Shackleton’s James Caird, we travel in hope.

Mend & Makedo

Mend & Makedo Theatre Company was founded in 1981 and produces original theatrical work. The company has staged more than twenty productions and is currently based in County Carlow. The artistic director is John MacKenna.

The Hedge School

The Hedge School creative writing programme is like no other.

Writers at all levels are encouraged to work on the projects which are important to them - novels, memoir, short stories, poetry and theatre.
